Name:
Lorenzo Iglecias Deleon Guerrero
Seat:
House of Representatives
Precinct:
5
Island:
Saipan
Education:
– I am a graduate of Marianas High School.
– I attained my Associates Degree from Pierce Community College in Washington State.
– I served in the United States Army, where I retired and now participate as a lifetime member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, Post 3457, CNMI.
What goals do you want to accomplish in your term?
– I have been extremely proud to serve the people of Precinct 5 and the CNMI in my terms as Representative and recently as Vice-Speaker. Working constructively with my fellow members of the Legislature, we were able to accomplish a lot. This includes many new road paving, sewer, and other infrastructure projects, repairs and upgrades to the Kagman Elementary School ball fields, repairs and improvements to community basketball courts, speed bumps and anti-skid surfacing on roads, bus shelter improvements, beautification, and many other improvement projects throughout Precinct 5.
– I want to continue to be able to see these improvements and continue to see the communities and the lives of our residents improved. Soon we will see the commencement of the installation of the Kagman walkway lighting system, the ribbon-cutting for the completely renovated Kagman Community Center, and the completion of new drainage and road paving projects.
– I will remain steadfast in working for the Precinct 5 community and the CNMI to secure funding support necessary to see our communities are safe and beautiful, for the well-being of our people.
Why should voters vote for you?
– Over the course of my past four terms in the House of Representative, I have continued to serve the residents of Precinct 5 and of the Commonwealth proudly, with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity. My efforts as Representative have been focused on improving our communities and improving the lives of our residents. This is evidenced by my successful record championing resources and projects to improve the precinct. This includes numerous new road-pavings throughout the precinct, which not only benefit the residents who drive our roads – but that benefit our environment and health, preventing erosion and dust. In addition to the numerous new road pavings throughout the villages of the Precinct, I’ve worked to see resources brought to the precinct to improve sports facilities (Kagman Elementary School ball fields, community basketball courts), new bus shelters and improvements to bus shelters, Children’s Park and community center improvements, storm drainage infrastructure, renovations of beach area restrooms, and road and pathway lighting projects, among numerous other community improvement projects.
– I vow to continue serving the Commonwealth and earnestly representing the interests of the people of Precinct 5, and continuing my work to make the precinct I represent, the best precinct it can be for all of the families that reside here.
