MYPros Online Training – “How To Build Financial Confidence”

(Press Release) – MYPros is excited to announce the launching of their educational online training series, which aims to provide professional development opportunities for professionals alike. The series will cover a range of topics that tentatively include social-emotional wellness in the workplace and fundamentals of the CNMI’s economy, to name a few.

The series begins with the first presentation: “How to Build Financial Confidence (And It’s Not About How Much Money You Have)”. Attendees will learn about financial management and how it can empower individuals to make savvy financial choices to promote stability and, perhaps, even achieve wealth.

The online training presentation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 12:00 PM – 1:15 PM. Interested individuals may access the training by logging onto the Zoom meeting room (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88426238090) and using the following meeting code: 884 2623 8090.

The training will be conducted by Dave Guerrero, the Assistant Vice President, Business Banking Officer with First Hawaiian Bank, who will discuss financial literacy and building financial confidence amidst the ongoing pandemic.

Guerrero’s professional career began after graduating in 2005 with a Master’s Degree in Economics from California State University, East Bay. Dave’s first job was in the Pricing Department as an underwriter of insurance premiums with Kaiser Permanente. Urged by his colleague, he left Kaiser Permanente and went to work at Wells Fargo’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco. Since then, he’s been in the financial industry for over 12 years in various capacities handling anti-

money laundering, fraud, compliance, investments, operations, and loans.

Leveraging our professional capacity in the CNMI, the series will explore various topics to promote personal and professional growth.
